Upper Moreland School District Receives National Financial Reporting Award

The award, recognizing the district for the fiscal year ending June 2020, comes from the Government Financial Officers Association.

UPPER MORELAND, PA — The Upper Moreland School District is the recipient of a national award recognizing the institution for its financial reporting practices.

Officials announced in late March that the Montgomery County school district was given the Excellence in Financial Reporting Certificate of Achievement from the Government Financial Officers Association honoring the institution for its annual comprehensive financial report for the fiscal year that ended on June 30, 2020.

According to a news release from the district, Upper Moreland was found by an impartial panel to have met high standards in providing full financial disclosure, communicating the district's financial story, and "motivating community members to read and engage with the data and information presented."
