Upper Moreland Township Appointments and Vacancies
The township's Finance and Administration Committee approved positions for the Upper Moreland Historical Commision and Parks and Recreation Advisory Council.

At the May 21 Finance and Administration Committee meeting, the committee reviewed upcoming vacancies for the Upper Moreland Historical Commission (UMHC), Zoning Hearing Board and Parks and Recreation Advisory Council.
In a letter to the committee, Michelle Young, newly appointed UMHC member and president, nominated Heather Greenleaf for a position with the UMHC, which the committee moved for final approval at the upcoming regular meeting of the board of commissioners.
The position would be for two years, completing Dean Schneider's three-year position. According to committee chairperson, Ward 6 commissioner Sam Valenza, Schneider resigned from the position.

Should Greenleaf be approved by the full board, one remaining position will need to be filled in order to complete the UMHC board. That position was left vacant by former UMHC president Dick Sayer, upon his passing last year.
The committee also moved forward three current members of the Parks and Receration Advisory Council, each seeking reappointment. The members are Michael Chauveau, Stewart J. Greenleaf, Jr.; and Ronald Sanchez.
