Willow Grove YMCA Executive Director Bill Seedes To Receive Patriot Award
Bill Seedes is receiving the Patriot Award due to his support of employees who serve in the United States military.

WILLOW GROVE, PA — The executive director of the Willow Grove YMCA is receiving a recognition for his support of employees who serve in the military.
Bill Seedes has been named a recipient of the Patriot Award, which is part of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve program of the U.S. Department of Defense.
He is being honored due to his support of Kelly Leibolt, a member of the 166 Force Support Squadron, an element of the Delaware Air National Guard.

Leibolt also serves as an aquatic team leader at the YMCA.
"Bill makes a special effort to support citizen warriors like myself through measures that include being highly supportive of my National Guard service even when I was called in on short notice," Leibolt said in a statement. "He also mentored part-time staff, providing them with leadership opportunities to fill in for me when I was away."

The Patriot Award was created to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support for employees who answer their nation's call to service, according to a YMCA news release.
Seedes is scheduled to receive his award during a presentation ceremony on May 10 at 1:30 p.m. at the Willow Grove YMCA.
The award will be given out by Jim Wong of the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve.
