What are the top issues currently facing your district and how do you plan to address them?
After speaking to thousands of community members, from every walk-of-life, across the 178th District, I’ve heard what they are most concerned about: out-of-control inflation and the potential creep of crime into our area.

To address inflation, we must control government spending and debt; safely harness our energy resources to reduce costs for consumers; and, implement smart tax and regulatory reforms that help job creators get our economy back on track.

I am proud to be endorsed by our police because they know I will work to help stave off crime by ensuring law enforcement has the tools and support it needs to do their job, focusing on root causes of crime, and saying “no” to radical policies that do not punish criminals who deserve it.

Identify specific goals or ideas you have to enhance life in your district:
Right now, two areas would most improve and enhance life for residents of the 178th District: getting inflation under control and our economy back on track, and ensuring that residents feel safe in their homes and community.

These two areas will be my primary focus if elected because until we do that, our residents will not be able to thrive.

Beyond that, I believe in helping our local communities be the best they can be. That’s why I am committed to spending the time to meet with local officials, community and civic groups, and residents to hear their concerns and work together to develop commonsense solutions – on issues ranging from supporting the workforce of the future through education improvements, to partnering with others to improve mental health support and care, to supporting environmental initiatives to protect open space, and everything in between.

What in your experience or background prepares you for election to office?
I believe it is the unique blend of personal, professional, and public service experience that I can bring to the office of State Representative.

Personally, as a working mom, taxpayer, parent of kids in our public schools, and a child of older parents, I live with many of the same everyday concerns and challenges as the people of the 178th District.

That perspective – not a political ideology – is what will drive me and my decisions.

Professionally, I have decades of experience in the private sector as a business professional helping provide counsel to businesses and organizations, often during some of their most challenging times. I will use that experience to bring smart fiscal discipline and pro-growth policies to state government.

In public service as a local school board member, I have a proven track record of working with people from all political parties to find common ground, and common-sense solutions and then put them into action. This is a skill that government desperately needs.
