5 Things Upper St. Clair Folks Would Want to Know This Week

Traffic, fun and the night sky.

Busy week! Here are five things that you'll want to know:

1. The southbound Liberty Tunnel will be completely closed, 24 hours per day, from late Friday, July 26, to Aug. 12.

2. A large crack sealing project is taking place on Route 88 from Monday, July 22, to Wednesday.

3. Do you have children who like to swim, bike and run? If so, then the Annual Youth Triathlon at Boyce Mayview Park is the right place for them to show their spirit. A mandatory pre-race preparation meeting will be held on Friday (the day before the race).

4. You can learn the cartooning process at the Upper St. Clair Library this week. Francis Cleetus, the creator of the "It's Geek to Me" tech cartoons and the author of the book Wish Your Mouth Had a Backspace Key is coming to town on Thursday, July 25.

5. A Supermoon may be visible over Upper St. Clair on Monday.
