Organ Concert Series to Wrap Up at Westminster Presbyterian

The church invites members of the community to listen to quality music at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 26.

Westminster Presbyterian Church's Organ Summer 2012 concert series wraps up with a performance on Thursday, July 26.

Justin Wallace, organist-assistant director of music and worship life at Christ United Methodist Church in Bethel Park, will perform starting at 5 p.m. Admission is free.

Westminster started the series in 2011 to complement the Upper St. Clair Farmers Market, which is held Thursday afternoons, June through September, in the parking lot off Devonwood Drive.

The first year of the series also celebrated the 20th anniversary of the installation of Westminster's Austin pipe organ. For specifics about the organ, click here.

The July 19 concert featured organist Nicholas Capozzoli, a South Fayette resident who is going into his sophomore year at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Ohio. Watch videos of his performances of works by French composers:
