Progress Made During Street Closure
Motorists who have had to detour around Hays Road this week can see a difference in the construction site nearby.

People who frequent Upper St. Clair's Hays Park have had a good view of work on the residential development that's taking shape next door.
Construction on Fair Acres, off Hays Road adjacent to the Bethel Park and Peters Township lines, has continued this week with closures of the street from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. That will be the case through Friday.
In the meantime, an access road has become visible through the center of the subdvision, and the lot lines are staked off for the 37 homes that are planned. Developer William McCloskey, in discussions with USC officials, targeted September as the start of home construction.
