BUCKS COUNTY, PA —Winter is here. And while we are all dealing with the falling temperatures and the fallen snow, there are events this weekend in Bucks County where we can all avoid the Deep Freeze.

Two top movies are playing at area theaters, including the County Theater in Doylestown and the Regal Warrington Crossing movie theater, among other theaters in Bucks County..

Those shows include "Wicked," the Wizard Of Oz spectacle, and "A Complete Unknown," the story of icon Bob Dylan changing from a folk music star by going electric.

"Fire & Frost" Bringing Dazzling Winter Evenings To Peddler's Village

Fire & Frost is being held at Peddler's Village in Lahaska against the backdrop of the village’s historical “winter wonderland” setting. The outdoor festival will feature dozens of ice sculptures, and fire artistry from 4-8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. (Read More)

"Twisted," A Complete Unknown" Playing At Theaters

With the cold weather, it's the perfect weekend to catch a movie. And two major pictures are playing at Bucks County theaters. "Twisted" is a twisted take on "The Wizard of Oz" in all its glory. Meanwhile, "A Complete Unknown," captures actor Timothee Chalamet playing the young Bob Dylan as the folk singer begins his journey into music history. The movie captures Dylan's rise to stardom and his departure from folk as he goes electric. Check your local listings or see the show at the County Theater. Gingerbread Creations On Display At Peddler's Village

Gingerbread Houses are on display from now through Jan. 19 at Peddler's Village in Lahaska. A holiday tradition since 1984, the annual Gingerbread Competition & Display features more than 100 festive gingerbread creations crafted by the public. The exhibit is on display at the Visitor & Event Center and will be open during shopping hours. Free admission. (Read More)
