Bensalem EMS Mourns Loss Of Member, 27, To Cancer
EMT Glen D. Golembeski of Doylestown died Sunday. He had served as a Bensalem EMS member for the past five years.
BENSALEM TOWNSHIP, PA —Bensalem EMS is mourning the loss of 27-year-old EMT Glenn Golembeski, who died Sunday.
"It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of EMT Glenn Golembeski," Bensalem EMS announced on Facebook. "Glenn passed away with family around him after a long and brave battle with cancer. Glenn was a full-time EMT with our Bensalem family. Glenn will be greatly missed."
Glen D. Golembeski, II, 27, was born in Doylestown, and was a 2014 graduate of Central Bucks East High School, his obituary said.

Golembeski was employed as an EMT with Bensalem Rescue Squad for the past five years.
He had served formerly as an EMT Fireman with Bryn Athyn Fire Company and Ambulance Service, an EMT for Warrington Community Ambulance Corps, a volunteer fireman with Midway Fire Company, and as a member of the Newtown Ambulance Squad and Lingohocken Fire Company.

Golembeski was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and also enjoyed cooking, golfing, going to the range, fishing, helping others, and going to the gym.
He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies fan and season ticket holder, and liked detailing his truck and spending time with his dog Kimber, taking her to Cabela’s.
He was the beloved son of Glen D. Golembeski and Dawn V. (Miller) Golembeski; dear brother of Noah J. Golembeski; cherished grandson of Gerald and Catherine Golembeski, and the late Lillian Miller; loving nephew of Robin Kardane (Bruce), John D. Miller (Vicky), Chris J. Miller (Christie), and the late Ruthann Golembeski; grand nephew of Paul Gelock; also survived by his service dog Kimber.
A celebration of life will be held at the Varcoe-Thomas Funeral Home, 344 N. Main St., Doylestown, on Saturday, Oct. 21, at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive their friends from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Cremation services were private.

Condolences were expressed by the Nottingham Fire Department, Penndel-Middletown Emergency Squad, the Eddington Fire Company, and numerous community members.
"The officer and members of the Eddington Fire Company would like to express our deepest condolences to our Bensalem EMS family who lost a great guy, Glenn was a great person and will be missed by all," the fire company said in a Facebook post.
