“Avery has been a starter on the Varsity basketball team since her freshman year. A three-time First Team All-League selection, she was also recognized by coaches across the division last season and named Co-MVP of the Freedom Division. Avery is the epitome of a team player — she leads by example, brings a tremendous work ethic every day, and consistently elevates those around her. I couldn't be more prouder or happier to see Avery reach this incredible milestone. It’s a testament to how hard she works — but even more impressive is the incredible person she is," said Laura Whitney, Head Girls Basketball Coach.
