Man's Body Found After Boat Capsizes In Delaware River

The man was one of three people thrown from the boat more than a week ago when it capsized in the Delaware River in Morrisville.

MORRISVILLE, PA — The body of a missing person who fell out of a capsized boat on the Delaware River has been recovered, New Jersey State Police said.

New Jersey State Police said the body of a man who went missing after his boat capsized more than a week ago was recovered Sunday near a yacht club in Bordentown, police said.

Enrico Ross, 51, of King of Prussia, was found in Crosswicks Creek at the Bordentown Yacht Club in Bordentown, N.J., at 12:12 p.m. on Sunday, Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron of the New Jersey State Police said.

Ross had been ejected as a result of the boating accident that happened on May 10 near the Route 1 bridge. State Police said the investigation remains active, and no additional information is available at this time.

The Morrisville Fire Company, Trenton Fire Department, and Yardley Makefield Fire Company were able to locate and retrieve one person from the capsized boat.

The Morrisville Fire Company said that another person was able to get to the Pennsylvania shoreline.
