The "Summer of Sabrina" issue for July/August showcases the breakout pop star in a risque pose as Carpenter celebrates the release of her new album, whose cover is also causing controversy for her pose there.
Carpenter's national profile has risen after her spotlights on "Saturday Night Live," where she sang with legend Paul Simon on the 50th anniversary show and also performed in another sketch.

The song debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Hot 100. Her 7th studio album, "Man's Best Friend," will be released in late August.
