Football Frenzy at Madison, Photo Camp Giveaway Today in Warminster

  • Philadelphia broadcaster Don Tollefson will be at Kenney's Madison Tavern tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. to talk football as the Eagles finish up the first week of training camp. Training camp passes and regular season tickets will also be raffled.
  • Katydid Photography is giving away a free pass to its Teen Camera Camp Week. Send in a short paragraph explaining why your child (aged 13 to 18) should receive the $500 value course by 10 p.m. tonight.   • The Warminster Warriors under 11 travel baseball team won  the Deep Run Field of Dreams Tournament in Perkasie last weekend, with five wins and no losses. The championship game was tied going into the fifth inning, when the Warriors exploded for 11 runs and ended the game early with the 10-run mercy rule.
  • Prosecutors have offered Ariel Castro, a Cleveland man accused of holding three women captive for close to a decade, a plea deal that removes the possibility of the death penalty, a Cuyahoga County courts source told CNN. The defense is considering the deal, and there is no signed agreement.
  • Mostly sunny today, with a high near 84, according to the National Weather Service.
