Memorial Day Events Planned For Lower Bucks Co. Find Out Where.

LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — Memorial Day parades and services are planned throughout several communities this holiday weekend in Lower Bucks County.

From Bensalem to Yardley, communities will pay tribute to the nation's fallen soldiers with most events planned on the holiday on Monday.

Here is the list of holiday festivities in Lower Bucks County this year:

Bensalem Township

The Bensalem VFW Memorial Day Parade will begin at 10 a.m. on Monday at Holy Ghost Prep on 2429 Bristol Pike, Bensalem.

Bristol Borough

The Robert W. Bracken American Legion Post 382 will hold its Memorial Day services Monday at 9 a.m. at the Bristol Borough Veterans Memorial at Farragut Avenue and Pond Street. Rounds include: 9:30 a.m., St. Mark's Cemetery, Radcliffe Street; 10 a.m., St. James Episcopal Church Cemetery, Walnut and Wood streets; 10:30 a.m.: Bristol Cemetery, Route 13.

Croydon Borough

The Joseph A. Schumacher VFW Post 1597 in Croydon will host its Memorial Day Parade at 11:30 a.m. Monday. The parade will begin at Cedar Avenue and State Road, proceed along State Road to Croydon VFW Post 1597 on Bellevue Avenue, and end with a memorial ceremony.

Langhorne Borough

The 105th Memorial Day Parade in Langhorne will begin with 9 a.m. ceremonies on the lawn of the Jesse W. Soby American Legion Post 148, 115 W. Richardson Ave. The parade Monday starts right after the ceremonies and will go through borough streets, including Bellevue and Maple Avenues and Pine Street (Route 413).

Morrisville Borough

The Morrisville Memorial Day Parade launches at 9 a.m. on Monday. at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church with a ceremony at the Morrisville Cemetery along South Pennsylvania Avenue. The parade includes the Morrisville Fire Company, borough officials, and community members. The celebration will include reenactors, military, veterans, marching bands, and community organizations.

Warminster Township

Warminster Township's Memorial Day festivities will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the township building. A parade follows at 11 a.m. and ends at the Warminster VFW building along Louis Drive.

Yardley Borough

The American Legion Post 317 in Yardley will start Memorial Day observances at 7 a.m. with rifle salutes at sites throughout the borough and Lower Makefield Township, including veterans cemeteries, the borough's hall, and the Lower Makefield veterans monument. At 9 a.m., a ceremony will begin at the Yardley monument at Afton and Delaware avenues. The Yardley-Makefield Memorial Day Parade follows at 11 a.m. from the Maplevale section of North Main Street. The parade heads south on Main Street to the Yardley-Makefield American Legion Hall.
