LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The latest rankings have been released on how high schools fare in Lower Bucks County.
U.S. News & World Report has released its latest rankings on the best high schools in the country, and dozens in Pennsylvania made the list.
The 2025-2026 Best High School Rankings, released Tuesday, include specialized STEM and charter rankings alongside the traditional state, district, and metro area categories.

Nearly 24,000 public high schools were evaluated, and nearly 18,000 were ranked.
The 2025-2026 Best High Schools national rankings identify top public schools based on six key performance indicators, including student achievement on state-required assessments, strong graduation rates, and college readiness measures.

Schools are evaluated on how effectively they serve all students, including underserved populations, with college readiness specifically measured through student participation and performance on Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate exams.
The rankings consider curriculum breadth and overall student outcomes as well. U.S. News worked with RTI International, a global research firm, to implement the comprehensive ranking methodology, using the most current data from the 2022-2023 school year.

No. 122. Pennsbury High School
Pennsbury High School is ranked 122nd within Pennsylvania. The Advanced Placement participation rate at Pennsbury High School is 28 percent. The total minority enrollment is 28 percent, and 30 percent of students are economically disadvantaged. Pennsbury High School is ranked No. 3,148 nationally, and has 2,869 students.
No. 196. Neshaminy High School
Neshaminy High School is ranked 196th within Pennsylvania. The Advanced Placement participation rate at Neshaminy High School is 32 percent. The total minority enrollment is 25 percent, and 37 percent of students are economically disadvantaged. Bensalem High School is ranked No. 4,889 nationally, and has 2,919 students.

Bensalem Twp High School is ranked 345th within Pennsylvania. The Advanced Placement participation rate at Bensalem Twp High School is 20 percent. The total minority enrollment is 53 percent, and 100 percent of students are economically disadvantaged. Bensalem High School is ranked No. 8,445 nationally, and has 2,116 students.
