John Gruber, the VFW Post's quartermaster, was lured out of a potential retirement last year and is still the man with the plan for the parade this year.
Warminster Township Supervisors recently thanked Gruber and the VFW for their efforts in running the annual event.
Gruber told Patch last year that the cost to run the parade keeps rising every year.
Gruber wanted to step down as parade coordinator but there wasn't a successor. So he was persuaded to stick around.
Gruber said the VFW Post also rents its hall and is always seeking new members. Anyone seeking more information should contact Gruber at 215-778-2637.
