LOWER BUCKS COUNTY, PA — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said that line striping is scheduled this week on Route 1 in Bensalem and Middletown townships under a $116 million project to reconstruct, widen, and improve a three-mile section of the highway.

Drivers are advised of the following travel restriction:

  • Monday, April 4, through Friday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane closures will be in place on Rockhill Drive in both directions between Old Lincoln Boulevard and Neshaminy Boulevard.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur.
