WARMINSTER, PA —Philadelphia Eagles fans love to travel to away games. And Sunday's Super Bowl will be the biggest away game yet.

Expect to see a Sea of Green when the Birds take on the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII.

Eagles Nation posted this week that nearly a quarter of all Super Bowl tickets have been purchased from Pennsylvania, according to information provided by TickPick.

TickPick said that only 7 percent of purchases had come from Missouri and Kansas combined.

The figures do not even take into account purchases from New Jersey and Delaware. Parts of those two states make up the Delaware Valley, where Birds fans tend to nest.

This shouldn't be surprising to any of us for many reasons.

First off, at more than $4,000 a pop, Eagles fans might be able to afford the tickets more than Kansas City fans.

Secondly, Eagles fans tend to travel well and often show up in a sea of green at stadiums for away games.

And lastly, if you live in Missouri and Kansas, why spend the money to see the Chiefs lose and watch Eagles fans celebrate a Super Bowl victory?

Eagles fans have that reputation for being obnoxious, mean, and crazy.

Minnesota is still recovering after Eagles fans stormed into their city for the Super Bowl five years ago and basically blasted a hole in the arctic air there.

Fans of opponent teams are even too afraid to venture into the Linc for their away games, knowing full well that they will be heckled and ridiculed from the tailgate until the clock hits zero seconds in Philadelphia.

We saw how Eagles fans rocked the Linc during the NFC Championship Game.

But on the road, Eagles fans are an even different animal. Wild times 1,000.

This sea of green will serve as an army of support as the Eagles try to win the second Super Bowl in franchise history. This will be a full frontal assault that most cities hate to witness.

And if the Eagles win, forget any curfews in Arizona. These fans will party in the desert until sun-up the next morning.

It will be Wild in the Wild, Wild West.
