SEPTA Regional Rail Commuters Will Have To Deal With Delays. Find Out When

PHILADELPHIA REGION — SEPTA regional rail line commuters throughout the Philadelphia region will have to deal with delays for over two weeks due to track and platform work, the agency said.

SEPTA crews will perform maintenance track work on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line, Warminster Line, as well as platform construction at Glenside Station as part of the Easton Road Waterproofing Project from May 2 to May 18.

SEPTA said the maintenance work will impact weekday schedules from May 5-9 on the Airport, Chestnut Hill West, Glenside Combined, Lansdale/Doylestown, Media/Wawa, Paoli/Thorndale, Trenton & Warminster, West Trenton, and Wilmington/Newark lines.

Riders can also expect weekend opposite side boarding on the Lansdale/Doylestown and Warminster lines and delays of up to 10 minutes.

Here are the details and schedules:

Friday, May 2

• Track work begins at 9:15 pm through the end of service day.
• No schedule changes.
• Outbound platform boarding on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line from Glenside to Penllyn stations impacts trains 5239 and 6543. Riders should expect delays of up to 10 minutes.
• Outbound platform boarding on the Warminster Line at Ardsley and Glenside stations impacts trains 473 and 477. Riders should expect delays of up to 10 minutes.

Saturdays & Sundays, May 3–4, May 10–11

• No schedule changes.
• Outbound platform boarding on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line from Glenside to Penllyn stations. Riders should expect delays of up to 10 minutes.
• The Warminster Line Weekend Shuttle Busing continues as scheduled.

Monday through Friday, May 5–9

Due to track work on the Lansdale/Doylestown and Warminster lines and platform construction at Glenside Station, a temporary schedule change is in effect for the following lines:

• Airport Line
• Chestnut Hill West
• Glenside Combined
• Lansdale/Doylestown
• Media/Wawa
• Paoli/Thorndale
• Trenton
• Warminster
• West Trenton
• Wilmington/Newark

In addition to the schedule changes, please note outbound platform boarding on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line from Glenside to Penllyn stations.

On the Warminster Line, passengers must board all trains on the outbound platform at Glenside and Ardsley stations.

Monday through Friday, May 12-16

• No schedule changes.
• Due to platform construction at Glenside Station, passengers must board all trains on the inbound platform. Riders should expect delays of up to 10 minutes.

Saturday and Sunday, May 17–18

• No schedule changes.
• Inbound platform boarding on the Lansdale/Doylestown Line from Glenside to Penllyn stations. Riders should expect delays of up to 10 minutes.
• The Warminster Line Weekend Shuttle Busing continues as scheduled.
