The Warminster Township Police Department has released its blotter of criminal incidents for April.

WARMINSTER, PA — A son got his mother in a chokehold during a domestic dispute, as reported by the Warminster Township Police Department in its blotter of criminal incidents for April.

These are the criminal incidents:

  • Officers responded to Juniper Street for a report of domestic progress between a mother and son. The complainant advised that her son had her in a choke hold and she almost lost consciousness. The 34-year-old man was taken into custody and arraigned before Judge Graier. Bail was set at 10 percent of $150,000. The man was transported to Bucks County Prison and charged with Strangulation, Simple Assault, and Harassment.
  • On routine patrol, an officer noticed a man slumped over the steering wheel of a car parked at Glen Road and Meadow Lane. When the officer awoke the man, and he opened the car door, the smell of alcohol was emanating from him. The 38-year-old man did not consent to Field Sobriety Tests. In a search of the man, pills were found. The man did consent to a blood draw. Pending lab results from both the drugs and blood, the man will be charged with DUI and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
  • Police officers responded to Madison Court Apartments for a report of loud music. The caller advised that this is an ongoing problem. Officers responded and told the 22-year-old man to turn his music down. The man complied. A few hours later, the complaint came in again through Bucks County Dispatch. Officers responded and cited the man for a Noise Ordinance Violation.
  • Officers were dispatched to Home Suites 2 for a report of a drug offense. The Desk Manager advised that a male who had refused to pay for his room had left the property. The Desk Manager had gone to the room to verify that the male had left, and after determining the room was empty, she opened the door to find drugs, a scale, and packaging in plain view. She closed the door and called 911. Officers secured the room while a search warrant was obtained from the District Attorney's Office. Once the search warrant was obtained, Detectives began to secure the evidence. The suspected drugs were submitted to the lab for testing. A credit card belonging to the suspect was also found on the property. A 39-year-old man was charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Controlled Substance, and Possession of Paraphernalia.
  • Officers were dispatched to the Warminster Free Library for a report of a vagrant. The Security Guard from Log College Middle School observed a woman go behind the library and begin to urinate by a tree. Officers located the 39-year-old woman and advised her she was no longer allowed on the property and was cited for Disorderly Conduct.
