WARMINSTER, PA —State Rep. Brian Munroe is continuing his tour to drive home the point that Bucks County's DART service is ideal for expansion to the township.

Munroe —who represents the 144th Legislative District —held a question-and-answer session recently at Christ’s Home as he, his staff, and representatives from Bucks County Transport could discuss the Doylestown Area Regional Transit (DART) system coming to Warminster.

Bucks County Transport operates the DART system.

The DART bus program is a regional transportation service that provides transportation to Bucks County residents for only $1, and to seniors for free.

"I have been hard at work in Harrisburg advocating for more funding so that we can extend this amazing program into Warminster," Munroe said.

The new DART South is now making daily stops at Grundy Hall, the Park at Westminster Apartments, Warrington Crossing Apartments, Wegmans, Walmart, Amazon Fresh, Target, the Shops at Valley Square, and more.

Other popular stops include Delaware Valley University, the Barn Plaza, New Britain Village Square, the Chalfont Train Station, the Shops at Valley Square and points in between, all for the cost of $1 or free to senior citizens ages 65 and older.

In late August, Munroe attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony of DART extending its service to Warrington Township.

Munroe held a session at Centennial Station and has plans for another at Warminster Heights and Ann's Choice.

"I look forward to continuing my advocacy for the extension of this fantastic program," Munroe said.
