Warminster Line Repairs Continuing Into November
SEPTA said a "major" repair project is ongoing on the Warminster Regional Line. Find out for how long below.

WARMINSTER, PA —Repairs on the Warminster Regional Rail Line will continue into early November, SEPTA officials said.
SEPTA said its engineering/maintenance/construction forces are currently working on a "major state-of-good" repair project, stating that there will be midday and weekend bus substitutions along the line.
Residents along the line can expect to see and hear work during the day and night, SEPTA said.

The Warminster Line has stops in Warminster, Hatboro, Willow Grove, Abington, Roslyn, Glenside, Jenkintown, and Elkins Park, among others before heading into Philadelphia.

- Continuous welded rail replacement between the Warminster and Roslyn stations.
- Preliminary work for the new Willow Grove platforms to reconfigure track siding, new overhead structures, upgrading switches, and additional foundation work.
- Platform repairs and tactile installation at Ardsley and Roslyn stations.
- Removal of 25 wood poles between Cresmont Station and Moreland Road.
- Tree trimming, brush cutting, and hazardous tree removal in various areas on the line.
SEPTA said the project requires the use of track equipment, including tie inserters, tampers, regulators, and spikers. Work will be noisy. Expect to hear typical machine noise, banging, and backup alarms.
Meanwhile, SEPTA is storing and shifting all of its maintenance equipment at the Hatboro Station.
To perform the work, bus service will replace the regional rail service between Warminster Station and the Glenside Station on the Warminster Line.
Weekend busing replaces rail line service each weekend through Sunday, Nov. 3. Weekday mid-day busing continues through Nov. 1.
