Warminster Line Repairs Wrapping Up Sunday

WARMINSTER, PA —After a month of work, SEPTA's project for major repairs on the Warminster Regional Rail Line will be completed on Sunday, the agency said.

SEPTA said Thursday that the construction will be completed on Sunday with new timetables effective on Monday. The new timetables restore midday weekday service and enhance weekend service on the Warminster Line.

Warminster, Glenside, and Airport Line timetables are reprinted effective Monday. Riders should consult new timetables for new train departure times.

In addition to the schedule information posted online, SEPTA will continue to share real-time service updates on the official SEPTA app and @SEPTA.

The Warminster Line has stops in Warminster, Hatboro, Willow Grove, Abington, Roslyn, Glenside, Jenkintown, and Elkins Park, among others before heading into Philadelphia.

The work included:

• Continuous welded rail replacement between the Warminster and Roslyn stations.
• Preliminary work for the new Willow Grove platforms to reconfigure track siding, new overhead structures, upgrading switches, and additional foundation work.
• Platform repairs and tactile installation at Ardsley and Roslyn stations.
• Removal of 25 wood poles between Cresmont Station and Moreland Road.
• Tree trimming, brush cutting, and hazardous tree removal in various areas on the line.

Weekday Service Changes

• Midday outbound trains (towards Warminster) are restored between Glenside and Warminster.
• Outbound trains depart Suburban Station starting at 8:05 am and operate hourly.
• Midday inbound trains (towards Center City) depart Warminster Station at 8:26 am and operate hourly to Center City.

Weekend Service Changes

• Weekend hourly service is restored between Warminster and Center City.
• Inbound trains operating from Warminster depart hourly between 6:56 am and 10:56 pm.
• Outbound trains from Suburban Station to Warminster depart hourly between 5:35 am and 9:35 pm.
• Early morning inbound train service departs Warminster at 4:56 am.
• Late-night service from Suburban Station to Warminster departs at 11:35 pm.
