The work process for water main installation starts with excavation and installation of the main, then filling and testing of the main, said Daulton George, the WMA's assistant manager.
After successful testing of the main, excavation will be done for the installation of new service connections for each property. Excavation will cause roadway disturbance, and temporary patching will be followed by road resurfacing, as needed.
"There will be temporary inconveniences associated with the construction," George said. "Access to and from your driveway may be occasionally impeded."
Anyone with questions about the project should contact the WMA office at 215-675-3301, ext. 201.
Also, an inspector will be on-site daily to also answer questions.
