$11K Jewelry Theft, Contractor Fraud: Morrisville Crimes

The Morrisville Borough Police Department issued its blotter of recent criminal incidents.

MORRISVILLE, PA — The Morrisville Borough Police Department has released its blotter of recent criminal incidents, including a jewelry theft and a report of a contractor who didn't perform $45,000 of work.

These are the criminal incidents:

Arrest/ Public Intoxication/Drug Possession — July 1, 1:32 p.m. A 30-year-old will receive a Summons after police responded to a domestic incident on the 400 block of Stockham Avenue.

Warrants/Retail Theft/Arrest — July 2. Warrants have been issued for two men for a retail theft that occurred at Raintree Shopping Store on June 29. On July 7, one man turned himself into Police Headquarters for the active warrant, was processed, and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.

Theft — July 3, 9:29 a.m. The victim reports paying a contractor $45,600 to complete repairs on their home on the 100 block of Barnsley Avenue that have not been done.

Arrest/Drug Possession/Paraphernalia — July 3, 4:13 p.m. A 31-year-old man was arrested following an incident at Yardley Beer Company on E. Trenton Avenue. He was processed and released pending a Court Summons.

Theft from Motor Vehicle — July 4, 11:11 a.m. A report of jewelry and cash stolen from a vehicle overnight at an apartment complex on the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue. Value: $11,000.

Arrest/Public Drunkeness — July 4, 11:58 a.m. A 55-year-old man was cited following an incident at Phantom Fireworks on S. Pennsylvania Avenue.

Arrest/Harassment — July 5, 10:24 a.m. A 35-year-old man was cited following a domestic incident on the 200 block of Bank Street.

Arrest/Warrant — July 6, 6 p.m. A male juvenile turned himself into Headquarters for a Juvenile Probation Warrant. He was released to the Bucks County Sheriff’s Officers.

Arrest/Warrant/Theft — July 7, 11:05 a.m. A 47-year-old man turned himself in to Police Headquarters for a theft of services that occurred on May 7 at Jacobs Auto. He was processed and released on $5,000 on unsecured bail.
