2 Day Festival To Celebrate Sweet Corn Season At Lower Makefield Farm
The festival will feature corn-themed games and activities, live musical entertainment, a petting zoo, fresh corn on the cob and a corn pit.

LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA — Charlann Farms will celebrate its second annual Sweet Corn Festival on Saturday, Aug. 2 and Sunday, Aug. 3 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 586 Stony Hill Road in Lower Makefield.
“We love our sweet corn and really feel this sweet and crunchy symbol of summer deserves to be celebrated,” said the folks at Charlann.
The festival will feature corn-themed games and activities, live musical entertainment by Jake's Rockin' Country Band (Saturday) and Local Honey Band of New Jersey (Sunday), their huge Jump Pad, barrel cart rides, a petting zoo (11 a.m. to 2 p.m. only), and a favorite among the kids - a Corn Pit.

The event will also feature food vendors, including sweet corn from the farm. Ashlynn Distillery & Broad Street Brewing will also be there both days with their brews.
Chairs and tables will be available, but guests are invited to bring their own. Tickets are $11.99 per person, ages 2 and up. A ticket gets you entrance into the festival grounds where guests can listen to live music and kids can enjoy the Jump Pad, Barrel Cart Rides, Corn Pit and other games.

Food and beverage purchases are an additional fee. Pony rides are also an additional fee ($10 per ride). Guests will also have the option to purchase a full weekend ticket if they plan to attend both days. Carpooling and/or use of a ride share service is encouraged. Pets should be left at home with the exception of Certified Service Animals.
