$44K Stolen In Home Items, Identity Thefts: Lower Makefield Crimes

Feb. 5
FRAUD —500 Block of Long Acre Lane at 1:19 p.m. The complainant reports that his bank account was compromised when an unknown person transferred money of $504.99. The bank will reimburse.

Feb. 4
IDENTITY THEFT —400 Block of Heacock Road at 2:34 p.m. The complainant reports that an unknown person opened an account with Progressive Insurance and a claim was filed with. No monetary loss was incurred.
IDENTITY THEFT —1300 Block of Jacob Drive at 11:15 a.m. The complainant reports that an unknown person used their information to order phones with Verizon for $569.18. Verizon notified. Under investigation.
THEFT —Unit block of Houston Road at 1:10 p.m. The complainant reports a theft of miscellaneous items at their home. Property loss is valued at $44,800. Investigation is ongoing.

FRAUD —1300 Block of Heller Drive at 5:18 p.m. The complainant reports that an unknown person opened a Verizon account in their name. The complainant reported to Verizon. No monetary loss.
Feb. 2
THEFT —900 Block of Vansant Drive at 6:41 p.m. Wegmans reported that an unknown male left the store pushing a shopping cart with about $400 worth of items without paying. When confronted, the man then left the area.
Feb. 1
DUI —Taylorsville and Interstate 295, reported at 8:14 p.m. A 26-year-old man was arrested for DUI following a two-vehicle accident investigation.

IDENTITY THEFT —400 Block of Hidden Oaks Dr. at 1:28 p.m. The complainant reports that they received a Verizon bill for $509.10. An unknown person opened three mobile lines under the complainant’s name and had the phones delivered to an unknown address. The incident is under
investigation.
