Black Bear Sighting Prompts Shelter-In-Place In Lower Makefield
Residents in Lower Makefield were asked to shelter in place Sunday due to a black bear sighting.
LOWER MAKEFIELD, PA — A black bear sighting prompted a shelter-in-place Sunday in Lower Makefield Township. The black bear was seen in the Yardley Hunt Development, police said.
Police are asking residents to call 911 immediately if they see the bear.
The Game Commission has been called to the scene, police said around 1 p.m.
