LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area between Monday and Thursday.

Monday

  • An arrest occurred at the CVS located at 100 block of Oxford Valley Road. A report of a disorderly female in the parking lot led to police arriving on the scene. The 50-year-old woman admitted to snorting Oxycodone and will be summonsed for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Disorderly Conduct, and Public Drunkenness.
  • A case of retail theft occurred at a local Shop Rite, located at the 1600 block of Big Oak Road. The manager of the store reported an unknown male and female attempting to leave the store with a cart full of merchandise without paying. They fled in a blue Honda CRV.

Tuesday

  • A theft from a vehicle was reported from the unit block of Knoll Drive. The complainant reported an unknown person, possibly more than one, entering their unlocked vehicle and removing a backpack containing a laptop, checkbook, and other personal items overnight.

  • A case of fraud was reported from the 200 block of Elbow Lane. The complainant reported an unknown person, possibly more than one, cashing a check from their account that they did not authorize.
  • A case of fraud was reported from the 1600 block of Thistlewood Drive. The complainant reported sending $100 via Venmo to an acquaintance in error and has been unable to get the money back.

Thursday

  • A report of criminal mischief was reported from the 200 block of Stony Hill Road. The complainant reported an unknown person, possibly more than one, keying their vehicle.
