The first incident occurred just off the property of Pennsbury High School on the afternoon of March 18. It occurred on Queen Anne Boulevard, between South Olds and Trenton Road, around 2:30 p.m.
The original statement from the school district said that a female student was approached by a man in a silver car who asked if she needed a ride. When she ignored him, the student said that the man demanded that she get in his car.
Several Pennsbury students, who were on the other side of the road when this happened, intervened in the situation. The man drove off when approached.
"We would also like to acknowledge the efforts of the students who intervened and the student involved for telling the high school administration what happened," school officials said in the statement. "Please remind your children to call 911 and/or tell a trusted adult if anything similar happens to them."
Days after the incident was reported, Falls Township police made contact with the man involved and determined that the whole situation was a misunderstanding; no charges were made.

The second incident occurred near Edgewood Elementary School in Morrisville on Tuesday evening. A statement from the school district said that a six-year-old student was approached by a man in a red pick-up truck on Saxony Lane.
The student was being picked up by her sibling at the time of the incident.
"A red pickup truck pulled over and asked the 6 year old girl if she wanted a tennis ball (holding it close to the passenger side window) and then drove off," the letter stated.
The girl's sibling, who is also a student in the Pennsbury School District, reported the incident through the school's Safe2Say anonymous tip line.
