YARDLEY, PA — The Yardley Borough Police Department reported several crimes that occurred in the area from Saturday, Jan. 8 to Thursday, Jan. 13.

Saturday, Jan. 8

  • Police were dispatched to the 70 block of South Main Street for reports of a suspicious vehicle. An officer observed a vehicle driving with its hazards on and an airbag deployed. The 49-year-old man from New Jersey was arrested for DUI; he was later processed and released.

Monday, Jan. 10

  • A witness reportedly observed a black Honda or Nissan sedan striking a parked Ford mustang and causing damage on the 50 block of S. Main St. Anyone with information pertaining to this case is asked to call the police department at 215-493-2782.

Tuesday, Jan. 11

  • A victim fleeing a domestic assault in her vehicle was entering the Police HQ lot when her car was struck was the suspect’s vehicle; the suspect, a man from Morrisville, age 53, was gone before police were able to intervene. The alleged suspect is now wanted on a series of charges, including Robbery, Aggravated Assault, Recklessly Endangerment, Receiving Stolen Property, Burglary, Simple Assault, Theft, Trespass & False Imprisonment.

Thursday, Jan. 13

  • A man was arrested at the Wawa on S. Main St. after he allegedly became disorderly, harassed people, and resisted arrest. The man, age 41 from Danville, VA, was processed and released; the case is pending court.
