YARDLEY, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported the following incidents over the past week. Read the details:

Friday, Oct. 8

1:28 p.m. — A complainant on the 500 block of Jenny Drive reported that someone filed for unemployment benefits in their name.

5:55 p.m. — Loss Prevention at the Shop Rite on Big Oak Road reported an unknown woman bought more than $500 worth of gift cards and other merchandise with a worthless check.

Saturday, Oct. 9

Sometime overnight, an unknown person egged a car on the 100 block of Pine Lane.

Wednesday, Oct. 13

2:16 p.m. — A complainant on Riverdale Road reported that sometime overnight, someone entered their unlocked car and removed $1,400 worth of valuables.

3:12 p.m. — A complainant on the 1600 block of Renaissance Boulevard reported their information was used to open a fraudulent business account.

4:06 p.m. — Someone on the 500 block of Cedar Hollow Drive reported receiving a fraudulent check for $18,000.

7:48 p.m. — A complainant on the 1500 block of Applewood Circle reported someone filed for unemployment benefits in their name.

Thursday, Oct. 14

5 p.m. — Someone on the 1700 block of Sunflower Way reported that an unknown person opened a credit card in their name.
