Free Jazz Festival Bringing 5 Bands To Morrisville Park

The weekend festival to feature seven hours of jazz music performed by five regional bands.

MORRISVILLE BOROUGH, PA — Five bands are joining the lineup this year at the 22nd Annual Morrisville Jazz Festival at Williamson Park on Saturday, Aug. 16, from 12 to 7 p.m.

The festival will bring to the stage the Newtown School of Jazz, the E. Garrison Street Saxophones, S&S Big Band, the Omeed Nyman Quartet, and the S&S Dixie Land Band for an afternoon of cool, swinging sounds.

"Bring your chairs, blankets, pop-up tents, and chess games for a day of relaxation in a wonderful park setting," said organizers.

The festival is sponsored by the Michael F. Sherlock Foundation, the Friends of the Foundation and Morrisville Borough.

The park is located on Delmorr Avenue where there's plenty of free parking. The concert takes place rain or shine.
