Harvest Day Festival Saturday In Yardley: What To Know
The annual festival, which takes place on Saturday, draws hundreds to the borough along the Delaware River. But there are changes this year.

YARDLEY BOROUGH, PA — The borough's biggest date of the year is Saturday.
Harvest Day will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday with locations at West Afton Avenue, Penn Valley Drive, Buttonwood Drive, and Buttonwood Park. The rain date is Oct. 11.

This year, while the event remains the same, the location has changed, organizers said.
Rich Wayne, Harvest Day's main organizer, said there will now be a permanent scholarship in the name of Yardley Harvest Day offered by the Pennsbury Scholarship Foundation.

.Council President Caroline Thompson will be selling Harvest Day T-shirts Saturday at the Lower Makefield-Yardley Democratic Committee tent, besides walking around the festival with her family.
"My sincere thanks to the Harvest Day Committee! Their work isn’t just in September; it’s a year-round effort to ensure your enjoyment and safety." said Thompson, who also thanked borough staff and the Yardley Borough Police Department for their support. "This event is truly an all-hands-on-deck undertaking."

Road Closure
West Afton Avenue will be closed from Main Street to Breece Drive from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday for the festival.
