Lower Makefield To Host Outdoor Egg Hunt

Kids who find an egg — maybe even a golden egg — can get a prize from the community center.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Lower Makefield Township will be hosting an "egg-stravaganza" egg hunt for kids beginning late this month.

From March 29-April 1, children ages 12 and younger are invited to head out to the township's parks and trails to look for large Easter eggs. Kids who find one may use the ticket inside to pick up a prize at Lower Makefield's community center, at 1550 Oxford Valley Rd.

Children who find a golden egg will get an even more special prize, township officials said. You may find a list of Lower Makefield's parks and recreation locations here.
