Memorial Day Road Closures, Detours Set In Yardley
The Yardley Borough Police Department has several detours planned due to several holiday activities on Monday.

YARDLEY, PA —The Yardley Borough Police Department will institute detours and road closures to support the annual Memorial Day activities in the borough on Monday.
Around 7:15 a.m., Main Street will closed from the area of the Knowles-Doyle American Legion Post 317 to the Wayfaring Lane. in support of the Memorial Main Street Mile.

- Delaware Avenue between Brown Street and Ferry Street
- East Afton Avenue between Delaware Avenue and Canal Street
The closures will remain in effect until the conclusion of the Memorial Day Observance ceremony organized by VFW Post 6393 and American Legion Knowles-Doyle Post 317 at the Yardley Veterans Monument.

- The length of Main Street from Maplevale Drive to Yardley Commons.
- Afton Avenue from Breece Drive to Canal Street
- Parking will be prohibited on South Main Street from 2 a.m. until the end of the parade.
Anyone traveling in the area should expect detours, operate with caution, and follow the directions of the police officer or auxiliary police officer.
