Pedestrian Injured In Yardley Hit-And-Run Crash

Yardley Borough Police said a New Jersey man was charged in the hit-and-run incident on May 15.

YARDLEY, PA — A 31-year-old New Jersey man has been charged in a hit-and-run incident that injured a pedestrian, police said.

The Yardley Borough Police Department said the incident happened at the Main Street and Afton Avenue intersection at 10:18 a.m. on May 15.

A police officer received information from a pedestrian, who was struck by a vehicle, which police said left the scene.

After an investigation, a 31-year-old Trenton, N.J., man was charged for an accident involving injury and failure to provide information and aid to the pedestrian.

Police said the pedestrian suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The matter is pending in court.
