Pennsbury School District Is One Of PA's Best In New Rankings

FALLSINGTON, PA — Data analysis company Niche, which specializes in analyzing and ranking top schools and communities, has released its eighth annual list of the best high schools in the country.

Pennsbury High School is the #66 high school in the state, according to the rankings.

The company also ranked the best Pennsylvania school districts, and named Pennsbury School District as #59 in the state. Pennsbury was also named the number four school district in Bucks County.

Niche offers report cards for schools and school districts, calculating grades across academics, teachers, clubs and activities, diversity, college prep, and health and safety.

  • Academics: A
  • Teachers: A-
  • Clubs & Activities: A
  • Diversity: B
  • College Prep: A
  • Health & Safety: B-

Pennsbury has 9,907 students in grades K-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 12:1. According to state test scores, 59 percent of students are at least proficient in math and 77 percent in reading.

Pennsbury is also the twelfth best school district for athletes in the state, Niche said.
