Pennsylvania American Water Flushing System In Yardley Area
Customers in Yardley, Lower Makefield and Falls Township may notice reduced pressure and discolored water this week.
YARDLEY, PA — Pennsylvania American Water began flushing its system on Monday and is warning customers they may experience reduced pressure or discolored water.
The utility is flushing its system in Yardley, Lower Makefield and Falls Township. It's happening 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Monday, June 29, through Friday, July 3.
Flushing is required to maintain high-quality water service and lets workers monitor and maintain fire hydrants, PAW said.

If your water is discolored, wait until it runs clear before using, the company said. Typically, this takes just a few minutes. Anyone with questions may call 1-800-565-7292.
