Pickpocket Team In Lower Makefield Targets 70-Year-Old
The pickpockets stole from her at Shop Rite, then used her cards to make $5,000 in purchases at other local stores, police said.
LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Police in Lower Makefield are looking for a team of three pickpockets who worked together to steal from a 70-year-old woman.
The theft happened at 12:18 p.m. on Feb. 8 at the Shop Rite at 1603 Big Oak Rd. According to police, the three people targeted the woman, who is from Lower Makefield, and stole her wallet.
They later used her bank cards to make more than $5,000 in purchases at Home Depot, Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy and Target, police said.
