Several Arrested For Driving Under The Influence: LMT Police Log
Police also reported instances of fraud, property damage, and theft between Sep. 10 and Sep. 15.
YARDLEY, PA — The Lower Makefield Township Police Department reported multiple instances of fraud and several arrests this week.

12:41 p.m. — A complainant on the 1200 block of Yardley Road reported that someone filed for unemployment benefits in their name.
1:10 p.m. — A complainant on the 1500 block of Candance Lane reported receiving an email claiming to be from the president of their employer’s company, asking them to purchase several gift cards and provide them with the numbers. After providing two gift card numbers, the complainant realized this was a scam.
2:30 p.m. — Someone on the unit block of Serene Lane reported that an unknown person filed for unemployment benefits in their name.

11:51 a.m. —Complainant reported from the 900 block of Princess Drive that someone filed for unemployment benefits in their name.
2:33 p.m. — Someone reported that two bicycles were cut from the chains and stolen on the 1400 block of Kathy Drive.
Sunday, Sep. 12
12:36 a.m. — Police on patrol stopped a car for violations on the 1100 block of Edgewood Road, where further investigation led to the arrest of a 26-year-old Lower Makefield man for driving under the influence.
10:04 p.m. — Police on patrol stopped a car for violations at the intersection of Route 1 and Oxford Valley Road. After further investigation, they arrested a 32-year-old woman from Lower Makefield who was wanted by the township for a retail theft on Aug. 12 and wanted by the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office for unpaid child support. A 34-year-old Lower Makefield man in teh car with her was wanted by Montgomery County. They were both taken into police custody.
11:39 p.m. — Police on patrol stopped a car for violations on Heacock Road and Langhorne-Yardley Road. Further investigation led to the arrest of the 50-year-old driver from Lower Makefield for driving under the influence.
Monday, Sep. 13
11:58 a.m. — A complainant on the 1200 block of Polo Run Drive reported damage to several AC units.
Wednesday, Sep. 15
9:57 a.m. — A complainant on the 500 block of Freedom Drive reported someone filed for unemployment benefits in their name.
4:18 p.m. — A complainant on the 500 block of Cedar Hollow Drive reported someone withdrew $4,530 from their bank account.
11:30 a.m. — A complainant on the 200 block of Clover Hill Court reported unauthorized use of a credit card in the amount of $290.76.
