MORRISVILLE, PA —It's about 10 or 15 minutes before sunrise.

Yardley photographer Josh Friedman is out and about, seeking his latest snapshot.

Friedman found it at the Calhoun Street Bridge crossing the Delaware River.

He said the sky was filled with a beautiful combination of pinks, purples, and blues, all reflected in the partially frozen river withy the view looking toward Trenton.

It was a brisk 18 degrees outside on this morning.

Within about three minutes of taking the snapshot, most of the color had vanished.

Friedman said he used an HDR (high dynamic range) photograph from three exposures that he merged.
