YARDLEY, PA — The summer sun was rising, and Yardley Photographer Josh Friedman was humming.

Friedman recently said a flower caught his eye. He captured this snapshot of the rising sun between the Old Library and the blooming Echinacea.

"For some reason (perhaps the path, or the color of the flowers, or the sense of mystery), as I worked on this image, I keep humming the Beatles' classic "Strawberry Fields Forever:" "Let me take you down, 'Cause I'm going to strawberry fields, Nothing is real, And nothing to get hung about...." Friedman said.

He positioned his camera and tripod very low (about 18 inches off the ground) to draw attention to the flower in the lower left foreground.

The snapshot is a high-dynamic range picture from three he merged.
