Snapshot: 'There's No Place Like Home' In Yardley Area
Yardley photographer Josh Friedman captures landscape frames of scenes throughout Bucks County in this Patch photo feature.

LOWER MAKEFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — The "powerful and damaging" storm rolled into Bucks County on this summer day, leaving area residents without power for over four hours.
When the skies finally cleared this June storm, area residents spotted a rainbow.
Yardley Photographer Josh Friedman grabbed his camera and captured this snapshot of the rainbow at Patterson Farm.

"I was fortunate to photograph the last moments of the beautiful rainbow, over one of the barns at Patterson Farm," he told Patch. "A minute after I took this shot, the rainbow completely disappeared."
The combination of the storm, the rainbow, and the farm left Friedman thinking about "The Wizard of Oz," and the feeling that "There's No Place Like Home."
