Virtual Day For All Morrisville Schools Due To Storm
The Morrisville School District said it is holding an Online Learning Day schedule on Tuesday due to the wintry weather.
MORRISVILLE, PA —The Morrisville School District will hold an online learning day on Tuesday due to expected snowfall from the nor'easter moving up the East Coast.
"The district will be closed," school officials said. "Students will participate in asynchronous virtual instruction."
The National Weather Service of Philadelphia/Mount Holly said that accumulating snow is spreading slowly southeastward across the region presently and should reach the Philadelphia region during the morning rush hour.

"Snow may be falling heavily at that time so please use extra caution this morning," the weather service said. "Conditions on the roads could change very quickly."
The weather service said that snow should end near midday with a much nicer afternoon.

The weather service said that much of our area near and northwest of the Interstate 95 corridor will likely be seeing moderate to heavy snowfall during the height of rush hour.
"Moderate to heavy snow will likely cause great havoc on roads, especially since rainfall overnight will prevent any pre-treatment," the weather service said. "Rush hour may be extremely slow."
