Washington Crossing Bridge To Close Wednesday Night
The bridge will be closed for an hour while crews do line painting, the Delaware River toll-bridge commission said.
UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — The Washington Crossing toll bridge over the Delaware River will be closed for an hour Wednesday night for line painting.
The closing will be from 9-10 p.m. Wednesday, according to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission. Crews will be paining the center line on the bride, the commission said.
Motorists planning to use the bridge are advised to adjust their schedules or take alternate routes during that hour.

The narrow, two-lane bridge connects Upper Makefield, PA, with Hopewell Township, N.J. The steel-truss bridge, which has a 15 m.p.h. speed limit, is 115 years old.
