Woodside Road To Close For Scudder Falls Bridge Work
Crews this week will be working on a wetlands mitigation area and possibly a walking ramp for the new bridge over the Delaware River.
LOWER MAKFIELD TOWNSHIP, PA — Closures and detours on Woodside Road near the Scudder Falls Bridge are set to begin on Wednesday.
The shutdown of the road had originally been scheduled for Tuesday, the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission said. The closures will be between River Road (PA Rt. 32) and the Delaware Canal.
They will allow work crews to build a planned wetlands mitigation area that's part of the Scudder Falls Bridge replacement project. Construction work on an entry-exit to an access ramp to the new bridge's walkway also may take place during the closures.
