Yardley Couple Pleads Guilty To 250+ Car Burglaries: AG
The couple was charged with the theft and burglary of multiple motor vehicles in Pennsylvania, according to Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
YARDLEY, PA — Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced that a Yardley couple that was charged for over 250 car burglaries pleaded guilty on Tuesday, April 12.
Keith Johnson and Jessica Fletcher both pleaded guilty to burglary, theft, and related charges at the Bucks County Criminal Justice Center before Judge Raymond McHugh.
According to Shapiro, the couple's crime spree began in Bucks County and made its way to the surrounding area, including Montgomery County and Philadelphia.

“These defendants stole from hundreds of victims, and are now being held accountable for their crimes," Shapiro said in a statement. "Thanks to the tireless work by our office in partnership with the Buckingham Township Police Department, residents can rest assured knowing these individuals will no longer be harming our communities.”
The couple pleaded guilty to several crimes that took place over the course of several months. A series of unsolved car break-ins that occurred in Bucks County was followed by the more break-ins in Montgomery County and Philadelphia.

The burglary of a Philadelphia home on Christmas night of 2019 was also a part of their crime spree, according to Shapiro. Investigators found that the couple stole $150,000 in cash during the burglary. The money was later determined to have been the life savings of the homeowner.
Johnson was sentenced to four to 12 years in state prison, while Fletcher was sentenced to five years probation. They were also ordered to pay more than $140k in restitution.
