• Memorial gallery to be dedicated to fallen Officer Andrew Duarte (wgal.com) — West York Borough is creating a memorial art gallery in its municipal building to honor fallen Officer Andrew Duarte and support programs he cared about, including traffic safety and youth outreach. Local residents and first responders are invited to submit artwork through Jan. 15 via Creative York, with the exhibit open through April for the community to visit and reflect.

• Man in jail after allegedly threatening York County judge (yorkdispatch.com) — A Fawn Grove man is jailed in York County after allegedly making threatening calls and emails toward District Judge Laura Manifold and her staff following a landlord-tenant ruling. Southern Regional Police and state police investigated, and the York County District Attorney’s Office approved felony and misdemeanor charges. Court staff reported feeling unsafe at the Stewartstown office and requested security checks around the building.
   

• State offering grants for watershed improvement in Lancaster, York counties (abc27.com) — York County landowners, municipalities, and nonprofits can now apply for state-backed grants of up to $75,000 for stream and habitat improvements in local waterways. Funded by two regional power stations, the program supports projects like stream restoration, farm conservation practices, and small dam removals in York and Lancaster counties, with applications due February 20, 2026.
