Cat Revived After Being Pulled From RI House Fire
While searching the Tiverton home for people or pets, firefighters found the family cat unresponsive under a bed, officials said.

TIVERTON, RI — A cat found unresponsive under a bed in a Rhode Island home after the house caught fire late Thursday has been revived, the town's fire department said in a news release.
The fire was reported just before 12 a.m. at the Dadson Mobile Estates in Tiverton, according to the Tiverton Fire Department.
There, officials said they found smoke and fire coming from a mobile home, which was quickly extinguished. But while searching the home for people or pets, firefighters found the family cat unresponsive under a bed, according to officials.

After being pulled from the home, the cat was revived with oxygen and no injuries were reported, officials said.

Another photo shows the cat lying on the ground as a firefighter puts a careful hand on its back and holds the mask to its nose and mouth.
Several locals commented on the images, expressing gratitude's for the firefighters' efforts and the cat's rescue.
"Our fire dept is so amazing," one person wrote.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
